Beautifully restored to reveal some of its original stonework, Milkwood Cottage is a comfortable self-catering cottage set among the olive groves at Long Thin Farm, with views across the farm and towards the Goukou River.

The cottage sleeps up to four guests in two bedrooms. On the ground floor, the main bedroom has a queen-size bed with an en-suite bathroom. Upstairs, the loft bedroom has two single beds — a real treat for children. The loft is accessed by a staircase, with a

child-safe gate fitted at the top if required.

 

The open-plan kitchen, living and dining area is fully equipped and includes a cast-iron fireplace for cooler evenings.

Outside, the covered patio provides a peaceful place to enjoy the farm and river views, with a private braai area for relaxed evenings.

The private braai area is stocked with wood on arrival, so you can settle in and enjoy an evening around the fire.

 

A short walk through the olive grove and vineyards leads down to the Goukou River, where guests can swim, fish, kayak or enjoy a picnic beside the water. The river area has a private jetty and kayaks for guests to enjoy during their stay.
